About Me

I grew up in Maine, lived in Boston for 13 years, spent a year on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and came back to Maine.
I am the author of The Day the Rain Came (http://amzn.to/JpCA3h), a coming of age novel that follows a 14 year old girl through one horrible summer.  And North of Bostons (http://amzn.to/1PGvu9E), a short story compilation.  I have been writing as long as I can remember...it is always the thing I come back to.

I am a college professor, a marketer, a mom and a wife.
I have Oppositional Defiance Disorder, ADD and just enough hypochondria to keep things interesting.
I love a good debate and have never been afraid to be the one on the outside.
I don't always live in the moment, but I'm working on it.
The roof of a Penske truck is not as solid as you would think...
